This page explains what AlienTech Game Studio LLC ("we") collects on playdawnofbeasts.com, why, and who else handles it. We keep it to what's needed to sell you a founder key and let you get back to it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign in with Google or with an emailed link. It is your account here: it's how we know which key is yours. From Google we receive only your email and whether Google has verified it.
- Your order: which key was assigned to you, when, and the payment's reference number. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Your volume setting, kept in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. A second, short-lived one (10 minutes) protects the Google sign-in step. Both are needed for the site to work. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your order: Stripe handles payment, sales tax and VAT, fraud checks and transaction support, under the Stripe Privacy Policy. Stripe tells us the order was paid and the email used, so we can deliver your key.
Who else handles your data
- Stripe: payments (above).
- Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
- Resend: sends sign-in links and your key by email.
- Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database): run the site and store accounts and orders.
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Orders and the email tied to them are kept as long as your key is valid, and as long as tax and accounting law requires after that. Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes and are deleted within a day.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or ask any question about it, at contact@alientechstudio.com. Deleting your account here doesn't remove the key from the Unity account you redeemed it on.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above, and email buyers if it affects their order.
